How View Production treats process Personal Information – GDPR

Personal information is an information that can be linked directly or indirectly to you as a person, such as name, mobile number, email address, job title and company name.

For us, this information is necessary for us to serve you and the company you work for as a customer.

This is also used in connection with our inbound marketing strategy so that we can send you information you have requested. We will not send sensitive personal information and ID numbers to e-mails as this is not allowed without the content being encrypted.

Why do we use personal information?

The purpose of our processing of personal data is to serve our customers and deliver the services that have been agreed upon. We process personal information that is necessary for us to fulfill an agreement with our customers or that we must have before we enter into an agreement with potential customers. As part of this, it is necessary that we have information about one or more contact persons in the company, so that we have the opportunity to contact and inform you when it is necessary for us to be able to deliver the services that we have agreed on. We also use contact information about customers in our marketing and customer care. We will only send you newsletters and marketing if you have agreed to this. This applies where mailings go to you as the contact person of the customer. You can withdraw your consent at any time if you no longer wish to receive such information from us. In addition, we use cookies on our website so that we can analyze user behavior and visits to improve our services to you as an end user.

What personal information are we dealing with

  • Administrative information such as name, telephone number, e-mail address, job title and which company you work in.
  • In those cases where we work with support-related tasks, we will also process administrative information about the persons who are registered in the application. This is only done by agreement with the customer.
  • Information on behavior on our website, such as to which articles and pages you read and other things you are interested in.

We do not share your personal information with others

Personal information that we store is for your own use only. Third parties will not receive personal information from us.


Personal data may be disclosed to public authorities if this follows from statutory duty of disclosure or disclosure obligation.


We do not store personal information beyond what is necessary to fulfill the purpose of the processing. If the company has a customer relationship with us, personal data, in order to safeguard the customer relationship, will be stored as long as the customer relationship exists.

All information about you is stored on secure servers, in line with the company’s own data storage routines.

All employees of View Software AS are subject to a duty of confidentiality. The duty of confidentiality does not only apply to external, but also internally between colleagues and goods after the employment relationship has ended.

You can gain access to your personal information

You are entitled to gain insight into which personal information we process about you.

You have the right to know what purpose and treatment basis we use, what information about you we process, recipients or categories of recipients to whom the personal information is transmitted, the storage length of the personal data, and where the information is obtained from.

You can correct and delete your personal information

If you believe that View Software AS has registered information about you that is inaccurate or incomplete, you have the right to request correction of the current personal information.

You may require us to delete personal information about you if the information is no longer required to fulfill the purpose of the processing, you withdraw your consent if there is consent that has been used as a basis for treatment, you oppose the processing and there are no other legitimate reasons to continue the treatment or that the information is treated illegally.

We have established a role as a person responsible for privacy who will have an overview of the processes, business areas and systems that process personal information, and continuously follow up the internal control and the risk situation. You can complain to the Data Inspectorate

The Data Inspectorate’s job is to check that the privacy rules are followed. If you experience something that you believe is a violation of the regulations, you have the right to complain to the Data Inspectorate.
