The Electronic Communications Act requires that View Software informs our visitors about the use of cookies. The so-called “cookie section” says the following:

§ 2-7b Use of cookies / cookies

Storing information in the user’s communication equipment, or accessing it, is not permitted without the user being informed of the information being processed, the purpose of the processing, who is processing the information, and having consented to it. The first sentence does not prevent technical storage of or access to information:

  • solely for the purpose of transmitting communication in an electronic communications network
  • which is required to provide an information society service according to the user’s explicit request.

“Cookies” – is a standard technology that virtually every website uses today. A cookie is a small text file that is placed in your browser’s internal memory, and it allows us to keep track of what you put in your shopping cart and which items are presented, and gives us statistics that we use to make our web pages better for our users. Most modern browsers (Google Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer, Safari, Opera, etc.) are set to accept cookies automatically, but you can choose to change the settings yourself so that cookies are not accepted. We note that many websites will not work optimally if you do not accept cookies.

Like most other sites, we collect information automatically and store it in log files on our servers. These are information such as. IP addresses, the type of browser you use on our pages, broadband providers (ISP), operating systems, date and time of visit, as well as some navigation data.

We use the information we collect to analyze trends, so that we can make our web pages better for you who visit us online. The information will only be used internally and will not be passed on to any third party and / or other persons outside View Software. We never store information that can identify you personally.
